ID Buzz Trailer Hitch

The ID Buzz comes with a trailer hitch that flips out at the push of a button.

Towing capacity is 1000 kgs (2200 lbs), and later with the long wheel base and all wheel drive version, the towing capacity will possibly increase to 1.8 tons (3900 lbs).

And in this ID.Buzz video, at the 17:48 mark, it also shows the flip out trailer towing hook operation. In this video, the stated tow capacity is 1 ton (metric tonne – 1000 kg) and they also say that when the long wheel base version comes and the AWD version, the VW Buzz ID tow capacity will increase to 1.8 tons (or almost 4000 pounds).
