ID. Buzz Camper Kit from Ququq
German camper kit specialist, Ququq, has a plug-and-play ID Buzz camper kit ready to order. It’s called the BusBox-4, and it’s specifically for the ID. Buzz.
The simple hardware can easily be installed and removed as necessary, and comes with a fold out bed and an expandable outdoor kitchen.
The week of October 10, 2022, Ququq announced that the BusBox-4 is available for order at a base price of €2,790 (approx. US$2,700). Deliveries will begin in November.
The Ququq BusBox camper box is targeted at camping enthusiasts who want to be able to use their everyday vehicle and eliminate the need to buy and store a dedicated motorhome or travel trailer.
In this video, at the 18:20 mark, we can see the ID Buzz camper box demonstrated.
The Busbox has 3 sections – the left section slides out to reveal storage space, as well as a cooktop space. The middle section is a pullout drawer for boxes or other storage, and on the right hand side is a water jug and drain tray for washing.
Inbetween the back of the second row seats, and the back of the BusBox-4 there is also additional storage space. This space gets covered by the bed, but when the bed is folded up you can access that area through the side doors of the electric camper van.
The BusBox weighs between 110 and 154 lbs, depending on options, and is designed to be quickly removed from the ID Buzz when the camping trip is over.
The BusBox-4 has already won an award
The BusBox-4 for the VW ID.Buzz wins 1st place as the best accessory 2022 in the “Golden Motorhome” competition. As in 2019 & 2021, we can look forward to receiving the award in the AutoBild Reisemobil readers’ choice.
