Cargo Capacity – will it fit?

Volkswagen says the ID.Buzz has a cargo space capacity of up to 3.9 cubic meters, with a payload of 650 kg. The ID. Buzz Cargo has space for 2 Euro-spec pallets. The ID.Buzz is also rated to tow up to 1000kg.

Bjørn Nyland recently did his ‘banana box’ cargo capacity test, and found that he could fit 30 banana boxes behind the seats in a 5-seat version, and a total of 49 banana boxes would fit with the rear seat folded. As far as electric vehicles go, the Nissan e-NV200 van had a slightly higher capacity of 50 banana boxes, but the next highest was the Mercedes EQV at only 35 banana boxes with all of the seats folded.
